If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, infinite.

"Support Halliburton!"

That's what the current administration really means when it says "Support the Troops!" as this country is going through a leveraged sellout where somebody is making a lot of money...apparently it's not most Americans. That special granting has fallen to a select few who exist there in the tip of the pyramid hording this country's wealth. Beinhart puts it pretty well describing the Bushenomics so prevalent today as being not the trickle down theory, but a policy that "piss(es) on the people".

Meanwhile, those who really do care are shouting "Save the troops!" and not just driving around in their gas guzzlers with yellow ribbon bumper stickers. Maybe our troops could better serve at home? A new report has come out stating that this country's military is horribly ill-prepared to respond to any domestic attack, be it chemical, biological or nuclear, because it is stretched too thin and doesn't have adequate training. What have we been doing since 9/11?...Oh, I forgot.

On a related note; The town of Battleboro, Vermont recently passed a petition to have George Bush and Dick Cheney arrested for war crimes. This elicited a tremendous response of hate speech spurred on by the Drudge report. Looks like someone doesn't know the difference between treason and political protest. This smells a lot like the crap that backed up in Florida when those gang of rightwingnuts piled up outside the door where votes were being counted after the 2000 election.

Note to Battleboro: I'll come and visit.
Cross-country skiing must be to die for...
